Since GIETC was founded, the company had been attaching great importance to the structure of human resources. After 20 years’ development and reforms, we have established a group of staff with high political consciousness, young age, and high level of education. To August 2006, we have had 122 persons on posts. Among the total staff, there are 49 party members, which takes up a percentage of 40.16 of the total number. Staff aged 30 and below 30 amounts to 54, which is 44.26% of the total number. 58 staff, that is 47.54% of the total number, accepts regular undergraduate or master education and 46 staff, which takes up 37.70% of the total number, has an educational background of associate college degree.
GIETC concerns for the development of staff, and pays great attention to the improvement of the ideological and political awareness and operational skills of the staff. At the beginning of each year, annual training plan is drew up by HR department according to the company’s human resources programming. Each month, the company organizes party branches for intense study. July and August of each year are the law popularization and discipline education months. Apart from these, the company also sent staff regularly to attend various types of training and study held by the superior management departments. The company’s training programs are carried out stepwisely, with a minimum of 2 times per capita every quarter.
GIETC commits to creating a harmonious and concordant working atmosphere. The company often organizes all kinds of sports and outdoor activities through which the staff could communicate more, meanwhile, the company's cohesion is strengthened.
The improvement of the potential abilities of staff fosters the company to make progress and develop. On the other hand, the development of the company provides the staff with a favorable environment. The company and the staff boost each other, which create a virtuous circle and finally achieve common development.
